Good Morning,

In my quest to design a baby blessing gown for my sweet little Felicity, I came across your exquisite Lost Ballerina dress on the cover of Belle Armoire. I love its natural vintage feel. I would love to recreate the pleating/gathering/crinkling of the skirt. I read your wonderfully fun article but was wondering if I could bother you for some more detail on how you created it and for any suggestions you might have for incorporating this into a gown.

I purchased a pattern to have a place to start my gown design. I purchased 100% cotton for the skirt and have chosen a beautiful raw silk for the bodice.

I would appreciate your insights and look forward to your response.
